Hairy Highlander Got Married – A Summer Solstice to Remember

On the Summer Solstice, June 21st 2025, I married my best friend and the love of my life.

We tied the knot in the Black Isle, a place that’s been the backdrop to so many of our adventures. It’s where we’ve climbed hills, wild camped, tied rags at Clootie Well, and spent countless hours exploring the land we love.

We’ve been inseparable since our teens, and she’s been there for every high, every challenge, and every moment in between. Hairy Highlander wouldn’t exist without her. None of it would.

She’s been part of this from the very beginning, blending oils, creating scent profiles, packing orders, growing the brand. But beyond all that, she’s also an experienced forager, with exceptional knowledge of wild herbs, plants, and fungi - integral to our brand.

This is more than a wedding, it’s a celebration of the life we’ve built together, rooted in nature, craft, and shared purpose.

We took a short break from the workshop to soak it all in, and I want to say a heartfelt thank you for your patience while we stepped away. We came back to a mountain of orders and are working day and night to get everything out by tomorrow.
