We are an independent art, gift and card shop in the southside of Glasgow. Absolutely all our products have been created by designers based in Scotland.
​We were established in August 2015 by Suzi Nicol, an art & craft lover, sewing enthusiast, jeweller and candle maker. She wanted to bring to the high street the incredible range of quality work available from local artists and makers.
We started by showcasing around 20 designers. Since then, we are proud to have grown to have work available from over 120 Scottish creatives.
Our artists & makers are based all across Scotland, from Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway right up to the top of the island of Unst on the Shetland Isles!

Our story begins in 1859, when James Kirkness, great-great-grandfather of the current owner, founded a grocers and wine merchant at 15 Broad Street in the heart of Kirkwall. This part of our business is still going strong, under the name Kirkness & Gorie.
